Rachel Fenn, founder and CEO of Revivle

Hi, I’m Rachel, an San Francisco-based engineer, mom, cyclist, and clothes horse, and the founder of Revivle. I’ve spent my career at companies like Upworthy, Stitch Fix, Looker, and Google, building products that are both good for the world and exciting to use.

After having kids, I started thinking a lot more about waste and pollution and how much the fashion industry contributes to it. I kept coming back to the same idea: we already have an enormous amount of clothing sitting in our closets. What if we could shop our collective closets instead of producing and buying more?

Between having kids, work, cycling, and loving clothes, I had a closet that was… literally overflowing. I’ve shopped for fun, shopped to self-soothe, and spent more time and money than I ever wanted. Things needed to change. I wanted to keep loving clothes, but shop more intentionally, buy secondhand and sustainable, and get more use out of my clothes. How could I have it all?

The solution is data. If I could see everything I owned, how much I was spending, what I actually wore, what languished, and what things were worth on the secondhand market, then I could shop my closet instead of buying more. So I built Revivle to do exactly that.

Revivle helps you shop smarter, declutter effortlessly, and love what you own, by making it easy to see, style, and resell.
